We manufacture thermal oil heaters in horizontal and vertical configurations. In their standard version, our heaters are three-pass boilers. With this system, it is easy to achieve efficiency of 85-90%, depending on the temperature of the hot oil, no other losses being produced because of energy transport.
Thermal fluid heaters have many applications. A large range of temperatures, from -80 to 400 ºC (-110 ºF to 750 ºF), makes this a highly flexible technology, applicable to both the field of industry and services. In the mid-high temperature range, from 200° C (400° F), thermal oil heaters are, for practical purposes, the only way to provide heat for an industrial process.

Thermal fluid heaters can also be used to produce steam, hot air or hot water indirectly with an available heat exchanger.
The working of an industrial thermal oil heater is relatively simple. In its interior, there is a heat transfer fluid moving in two concentric coils. Combustion of a fuel such as natural gas, diesel fuel or heavy fuel oil , produces a flame which heats these coils by convection and radiation. Using main circulation pumps, the thermal fluid heaters send the heat-transfer fluid at a certain temperature to its different consumers.
Pirobloc has obtained qualification to make thermal fluid and is under the specific design codes required in countries which require compliance with regulations other than those of the European Union. Furthermore, Pirobloc is qualified to carry out engineering studies for improvement or rationalisation of existing thermal fluid systems, with the aim of improving the efficiency of our customers’ facilities and their energy efficiency.
